Oh, I get it. Franken’s not a thief. He’s just a trusting boob who surrounds himself with incompetent people. Like you! That’s the kind of judgment we need in the Senate.

Can’t believe Franken brings this issue up again, in his own ad.

I pay an accountant to do my taxes, and I expect to only have to sign the papers. That’s what I pay the damn accountant for. If I was going to do all the paper work myself I wouldn’t hire the damn accountant.

Senator Colman in my opinion is a real prick. I have watched him on a lot of C-Span footage, and he is always a condescending and arrogant. It’s odd Franken writes a book critical of the Bush administration and how we’ve been fleeced by contracts like Haliburton, than gets audited.

If he can’t keep his own finances straight how does he expect to be responsible for other peoples tax dollars? Oh yeah I forgot he’s a liberal — they’re great at spending OPM. And it’s typical pass the buck – excuse the pun – liberal tactics.

Al Franken is clueless and dangerous. Franken is not qualified to be a Senator.

Franken, the biggest liar of all time!!!!

Typical liberal hypocrisy!

Liberals who grandstand should stick to sex scandals – not robbing the poor working people of their welfare money.

Franken just sunk; he’s done. This is right up there with a conservative republican sucking cock.

Well, I don’t like Franken any more at all, but I believe his explanation. There are plenty of examples of wealthy people (celebrities, athletes) that have received bad advice from their lawyers/accountants. I don’t believe Franken intentionally cheated on his taxes, and his paying the tax/penalty should close the issue.
